Fundraising Auction for Ross-shire Red Kites

In March 2014, news came in of the discovery of several Red Kites who had died in Ross-shire, Scotland. The number of carcasses found continued to rise over the next few weeks, eventually totalling 16 Red Kites and six Buzzards. Many have since been confirmed as having died from poisoning.

I’m aiming to raise funds for the RSPB by auctioning my original Red Kite drawing and the money raised will go towards benefiting the Red Kites in the Ross-shire area or the RSPB investigations team, both worthy causes. I love raptor watching, and I find the on-going persecution of our wonderful birds of prey heartbreaking. I hope this auction will raise a nice sum for the Kites.
