There is piece of archival hinging tape that I have left stuck on the back of the print where it was originally mounted for framing, as it will tear the paper if I attempt to remove it. The tape is not visible from the front of the print which is in an otherwise “as new” condition.

This isn’t just a bird of prey; it’s a portrait of ‘Turquoise Z,’ a well-known male White-tailed Eagle from Fife, Scotland. Identified by his wing tags, Turquoise Z has been a fixture of the local landscape for years. Having spent countless hours observing him since he was a juvenile, I created this piece from a reference photo by Kathryn Whyte to honour his presence in the wild.
